Assunta Felice

DPhil Student

Assunta joined the Tait group in 2025 and is affiliated with Christ Church College. Her research focuses on investigating organic solar cells through Electrically Detected Magnetic Resonance (EDMR) spectroscopy.

Assunta undertook her undergraduate studies (MSci) at Imperial College London, where she was awarded the Ken Allen prize for excellence in research. Her final year project and subsequent research internship focused on developing simulation packages for interpreting spectroscopic data from the Juno probe currently circulating Jupiter. During her time in industry, Assunta was a systems and simulation engineer working on early-stage concepting designs for aircraft.

Outside of the lab, Assunta is part of the university engineering team to design and build formula-style cars and loves to explore new places.
