Niall Curwen

Part II Student

Niall is a Part II student in the group, currently enrolled at Magdalen College. For his project, Niall is comparing photophysical mechanisms in materials for organic photovoltaics and photocatalytic hydrogen evolution using a combination of pulse and transient EPR techniques alongside DFT calculations.

Outside of the lab, Niall is a keen golfer, having captained the university team in his third year. He also plays football regularly and enjoys following his beloved club Sheffield Wednesday.
